Qualification required to work as an interior designer
Interior design is actually a self-regulated industry. This means that you need not have any professional qualification or memberships to official (or non-official) bodies or associations in order to work in the industry. Many professional interior designers are self-taught or simply have a natural flair. You will find what you ‘can do’ is far more highly regarding in the industry than any qualification you can obtain.
It is for this reason that our interior design course is intensely focused on the practical side of interior design. The assignments you complete throughout this interior design course will go a long way towards forming the backbone of your professional portfolio that you will then be able to show to potential clients and employers in the future.
