I joined the Professional Interior Design Course with The Interior Design Academy after taking a job at a cabinetmakers. The clear layout of the brochure specifically mentioned kitchen and bathroom design which were the specific areas I needed to study for my new role.
I embarked on this interior design course with the support of my new employees and received my first tutorial in good time. From the start I enjoyed the freedom of being able to read the information as and when I liked. The assignments were relevant, challenging in parts and thorough. It’s definitely a case of what you put in you get out.
Overall, I have applied every part of the course to my new role almost in sync as the job’s requirements unfolded. It’s been an invaluable experience. I had not studied for ages and learning has been empowering, creative and undoubtedly the best thing I’ve done for myself and my career since university. I would recommend the Academy time and time again to anyone looking to break into interior design as a solid foundation of all knowledge required!
