Since I was a little girl, I always dreamt of being an Interior Designer. I loved drawing and would always be moving the furniture around my parents’ home creating new looks.
The Professional Interior Design Course from The Interior Design Academy has given me the confidence and skills that I needed to achieve my dream. I have learnt an enormous amount about the theory and practical side of interior design through the assignments included with this interior design course. This interior design course covers all aspects of interior design and it has helped me choose the career path in design that I wanted to pursue; property styling, colour consultancy and residential and commercial interiors.
The interior design course material was absolutely fantastic explaining everything I needed to know from all the different types of products to all the different styles and names of furniture. The information provided in the tutorials is totally amazing. I don’t think there is any one topic that is not covered in specific detail.
My tutor was just the best! My assignments were sent back to me in a timely fashion along with great, honest and valuable feedback. Not to mention those endless and useful tips!
If I needed help with anything, the Academy was just an email or a phone call away. The team promptly attended to my queries on the few occasions I had extra questions and were friendly and always willing to help!
So far I have completed a colour consultancy for a holiday cabin, I am currently in the process of doing a complete make over for a master bedroom and for a dining and formal living room, all for separate clients. I have also just redecorated the master bedroom, a boy’s bedroom and powder room in my own home.
This interior design course has opened so many doors and opportunities for me. I never dreamt of actually running my own business. I have now started my own business specialising in property styling, colour consultancy and residential and commercial interiors. I will never look back and I am so glad for that day when I picked up the phone and dialled The Interior Design Academy.
The future ahead is going to be one of excitement, hard work, enjoyment but also one of passion filled with what I love doing most of all.
