After completing The Professional Interior Design Course, I have gone on to assist hundreds of clients over the years in creating beautiful interior and exterior designs for their homes. I work largely in the new home construction industry and help clients complete mainly kitchens, bathrooms, and indoor & outdoor living spaces that reflect them and their lifestyle.
The course itself was well presented, with easy instructions for the completion of each assessment. There was always someone on hand to assist with any queries and I had the encouragement and support of a personal tutor. I loved the ability to work online at my pace (much of how the world operates now) so I was able to complete the course around my full-time job and my family life. Upon completion of the course, I have been able to use the skills acquired to go and create a fun and rewarding career that I continue to run largely online with some in-house appointments to discuss client needs and changes; however, much of this can be done online via video stream now, which also adds to that lifestyle flexibility.
I have been using my skills learnt during my course studies to go and work with many builders in both the volume home and custom home industries and complete project renovations for family and friends. I just love how much the changes in their homes makes them feel and are able to represent who they are. I found that for many people visualising or designing what they want is very difficult, so it has been amazing to provide solutions to their design challenges and show how it will look and increase the value of their properties. I have gone on to do online drafting and design courses to fully provide clients with 2D & 3D designs.
I now run my own business, helping people with design consultation in commercial and residential spaces focusing on kitchen and bathroom renovations. I also do multiple real estate developments of buying, renovating and flipping properties.
If I could offer any advice to anyone considering taking up this course, it would be this course will give you the fundamental education you will need to work as an interior designer. It will also provide you with the benefits of studying online from home while receiving all the assistance you require to become qualified and follow in your passion for design.
It truly is a very rewarding career, so becoming qualified as a professional interior designer through this course will give you the skills and the confidence to pursue all of your dreams!
